SUMMARY

The IT Manager is responsible for driving, executing, and realizing the company's technical vision and strategy for new and existing restaurants.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Maintain equipment and network topologies
  2. Perform quality control evaluations, write and establish specifications, assist in the validation of quality control tests, and write Standard Operating Procedures
  3. Assist management at all locations with technical issues and maintenance
  4. Establish scope and objectives to determine strategies for implementing systems and new technologies that achieve business goals
  5. Develop and implement network security policies, protect from unauthorized access, monitor usage, and resolves access issues in compliance with PCI requirements
  6. Create, manage, and execute project plans to support the ongoing needs of the IT department
  7. Coordinate resources, establish deadlines, and assign responsibilities
  8. Explore, research, and incorporate emerging technologies, systems, and procedures
  9. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networks (WLAN, LAN)
  10. Audit the performance of IT infrastructure, systems, and policies versus established corporate standards for productivity, accuracy, stability, and security
  11. Interpret technical jargon into business terms to communicate effectively with senior management and the Executive Team
  12. Procure and manage external vendors and IT support
  13. Design, develop, and maintain email network; establish user accounts and security guidelines, track server performance, and provide first-level resolution for issues
  14. Install and configure POS Systems to ensure system integrity, compatibility, and standardization
  15. Resolve network performance issues and establish a disaster recovery plan
  16. Install, test, upgrade, and configure corporate and office computers
  17. Work directly with Executives on projects as assigned
  18. Train management and hourly staff periodically on systems and processes related to IT

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  1. Relevant technical knowledge preferred, usually obtained through schooling, certification, and/or five years of applicable experience
  2. Experience working with Log Me In and Microsoft Exchange Servers
  3. Strong base in network fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  4. Experience with some web design and maintenance preferred
  5. Ability to terminate network cables and install network equipment
  6. Future-oriented leader adept at reacting proactively to change
  7. Ability to multi-task and handle competing deadlines
  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  9. Ethical demeanor capable of preserving confidentiality
  10. Ability to maintain a pleasant, polite demeanor and attitude for interacting with public as well as staff
  11. Ability to take direction and participate as part of a team
  12. Must maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public
